Kristi Shaw is an inspired leader, a survivor, and a mother motivated daily by her five key strengths. Kristi is a maximizer, a futuristic woman who is driven by competition, positivity, and self-assurance. Kristi’s mission is to make a positive difference in the lives of people- by helping them cultivate and maximize their strengths and talents to their full potential. Always striving for new innovative ways to reach her goals, therefore allowing her to help others to reach theirs. In doing so, keeping the end prize in sight at all times, paying attention to detail from start to finish. She will embrace change and diversity, while celebrating her victories, knowing she will have a lifetime of contentment at the end of her journey.

Kristi’s fun and charismatic personality draws you in and lifts you up as she focuses on strengths over weaknesses. Kristi has spoken at numerous events all over the Midwest such as New Student Orientation Days, Career Exploration events, Professional Development days for Cowley College along with team building and conflict management workshops for faculty, staff and corporate training. Kristi has been the keynote speaker for the Young Women’s Conference, Ark City Student of the year and GED keynote speaker, along with many speaking engagements for area civic organizations.   

Kristi graduated from Northwestern Oklahoma State University with a double major in Physical Education/ Health & Wellness and Psychology with an Infectious in Motivational Psychology. Kristi is currently the Executive Director of Enrollment Management at Cowley College. She has been with Cowley College for 23 years helping bring to life the Track and Cheerleading programs. Kristi is also the owner of Advanced Cheer Crew All-Starz and has worked with over 1000 student-athletes in 20 years. She was named cheerleading coach of the year, inducted in the UPA coaches Hall of Fame, and has coached her teams to victory winning over 156 National Championships in her coaching career.

Kristi loves her family deeply. She was married to her late Husband Brian Shaw for twenty-five years. They share two daughters together, Halston age 23, and Hadlea age 17. In her minimal spare time, she enjoys shoe shopping, crafting, gardening, home decorating and massages. However, her true passion is to inspire others to live to their fullest potential.
